After a long rough ride through new terrain; GM has finally paid of the government for their loan. I hope this helps people give them a chance again; GM has been a mainstay in the automotive industry for over one hundred years.

It’s time to lay off of the imports are better routine: we all need to see it for what it is; we should be supporting our country. Not the importers, we all know that our American car are as high in quality as any car built, look at Toyota; with their brake failing, and accelerator pedals sticking to the floor.

How is that better quality then a Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, or Cadillac? When was the last time you got in your Chevrolet and had the accelerator pedal stick to the floor? It’s time to start thinking like Americans again, it’s time to rebuild the American spirit.

If you don’t think that it hurts our country when you insist on buying imported goods; your wrong. Just because Toyota has a plant in the United States does not mean that it’s an American product. They are here to make money for the Japanese economy; not our country.

I don’t blame them for it either; when they discovered how easily they could covert Americans; they took advantage of the situation. That makes them smart business people, and the Americans that bought in to the hype gullible; it’s time to let it go people.

I will be the first to agree that I hated the bailouts, and it upset me that the big three had done this to themselves. But this country could not afford to let them go down; while it’s true that some investor probably would have stepped up to save them, the crunch was on.

They needed to do something, they could not afford to lose any more market share. It was inevitable that they had to do something fast, and and investor could take a lot of time to come forward. They had to borrow the money from the government, but they have paid that back now.

It’s time to start looking at American cars again, I don’t know Chrysler is doing with their loan from the government; but I do know for a fact, that GM has paid theirs off. So lay off the bashing on GM, and give them a chance to show you what they can do.
